It's September 2021 and autumn is here. The crops in the fields are ripe and naughty Mrs Bob has found a field with some tasty barley....Most textbooks are saying that beavers don't leave the water for more than a few meters, well, they don't know Mrs Bob! She walked about 25m each way and the way back on just her hind legs as her front legs were holding all those crops! But she needed the energy as one of the autumn storms had brought with it some very high water levels which washed open the ceiling of the lodge, so the day after Mrs Bob gnawed one branch after another to close the hole and make their home safe again.
