Rough Love

If you are out on the Commons or some places with dry soil you might see a Green tiger beetle , Cicindela campestris. They can run at speeds of 60 cm per second, so very often you just see a flash of green before it's gone.

Unless they are busy mating as they were this looks quite rough, would not want to be a female tiger beetle with those big claws around :-o
