It's cold and dark in the evenings, but the beavers don't mind. They quite enjoy not being disturbed by walkers all the time. Though on the odd occasion some of their wild neighbours disturb them. And if those are too big and seen as a possible threat they are quickly shown who the boss in the river is now!
