Now that it is getting dark earlier and earlier the chances of seing the beavers in day light are getting slimmer but there is still a lot of other wildlife out there and with a bit of rain and still warm temperatures it is the perfect time for mushrooms!
Not even actively looking for them I found these beauties yesterday:
Bay bolete
Parasol mushrooms and a Beefsteak mushroom
Best way to eat the beefsteak mushroom: thinly sliced like carpaccio on a salad - Yummy!
